Gerhard Charles Rump is a versatile artist whose works have been presented nationally and internationally in numerous solo and group exhibitions. His art is characterised by an in-depth exploration of different themes and techniques, ranging from photography and painting to conceptual installations. Rump knows how to transport the viewer into a world full of aesthetic and intellectual challenges by placing everyday motifs and materials in new, unexpected contexts.
In recent years, Rump has exhibited his works in a large number of galleries and museums, with each exhibition highlighting a new facet of his artistic work. By collaborating with other artists and participating in thematically diverse group exhibitions, Rump demonstrates his ability to position himself in various artistic dialogues and constantly open up new perspectives. His exhibitions offer the public the opportunity to engage with the complex and multi-layered aspects of his art and to trace the development of his artistic style over the years.
